The Hospitality Operations & Service Training (HOST) Programme is a new initiative launched by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs (MSYA) in collaboration with COSTAATT. It is designed to prepare young people in Trinidad and Tobago for careers in the hospitality and service industry.
Key Programme Details
Target Audience: Citizens of Trinidad and Tobago aged 18 to 35.
Duration: 3 months (part-time) involving 60 contact hours.
Training Locations: Wallerfield Activity Centre, California Youth Development Centre, and COSTAATT.
Curriculum: Training in Food & Beverage Service (Hands-on, practical experience).
Certification: Participants earn three college credits and a Certificate of Achievement from COSTAATT.
