Empowering youth to serve, lead, and shape the future of Trinidad and Tobago, the National Service Programme (NSP) provides young citizens with a unique opportunity to contribute to national development while building skills, leadership, and civic responsibility. Guided by the National Youth Policy (2020–2025), the NSP bridges the gap between education and real-world impact, enabling youth to make meaningful contributions to their communities and the nation.
The NSP operates through a structured, youth-focused model, ensuring that participants are supported, skilled, and engaged. The programme is guided by five key principles:
