A major multi-purpose sporting facility located in Mucurapo, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. The stadium was officially opened on 12 June 1982 as the National Stadium and was later renamed in honour of Hasely Joachim Crawford, the first athlete from Trinidad and Tobago to win an Olympic gold medal. The Hasely Crawford Stadium has hosted important international competitions, including matches during the 2001 FIFA U-17 World Championship and the 2010 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, and it continues to support athletics, football, and community activities.
